This policy applies to all courses and learning materials offered by Like a Korean (LAK).

All dates and deadlines stated in this policy are based on Korea Standard Time (KST).

I. Course Refund & Credit Policy

1. Refund Policy (Courses)

• A full refund is available up to one (1) day before the official course start date, based on Korea Standard Time (KST).

  Please note that a non-refundable registration fee of USD $50 will be deducted from the refunded amount.

• No refunds will be issued on or after the course start date, based on KST, including the first day of class, under any circumstances.

• Once the course has started, all payments are final, regardless of attendance, participation, personal scheduling conflicts, or access to class recordings.

2. Credit Option for Unavoidable Circumstances (Courses Only)

• If a student is unable to attend a course due to unavoidable and verifiable circumstances, the full paid tuition amount may, at the sole discretion of Like a Korean (LAK), be converted into course credit without any deduction of the USD $50 registration fee.
• Supporting documentation may be required to verify the unavoidable nature of the circumstances.
• Course credit issued by Like a Korean (LAK):
  • Is non-transferable
  • Has no cash value
  • May be applied only to future Like a Korean (LAK) courses, subject to availability
  • Must be used within one (1) year from the original course start date (KST)
• Any unused credit will automatically expire after one (1) year and cannot be extended under any circumstances.

3. Duplicate Payment (Courses)

• In the event of an accidental duplicate payment for the same course, a refund may be issued once (one time only) for the duplicate charge.
• This exception applies only to confirmed duplicate payments and does not apply to voluntary additional purchases or registrations.
